In doing so, we take a holistic view of sustainability – it includes not only environmental protection, but also social justice, the preservation of our cultural heritage and the well-being of people and animals.

But sustainability is more than just a promise – it is a lived responsibility. That's why we are continuously working to minimize our ecological footprint and make our processes even more environmentally friendly. Here are some of our key actions:

Environment

• Energy efficiency: We only use 100% green electricity from South Tyrolean hydropower. We are also planning to build a photovoltaic system to generate our own electricity.
• Regional value creation: We prefer local products and services in order to reduce transport distances and strengthen the regional economy.
• Emission savings: Our employee accommodations are within walking distance of the hotel, and we motivate both employees and guests to use public transport.
• Sustainable construction: For renovations and new buildings, we rely on environmentally friendly materials such as local wood.

Sustainability in the kitchen

• Regional and seasonal ingredients: When buying our food, we always pay attention to the origin and delivery routes. Above all, we prefer to source our meat and vegetables from local producers and pay attention to sustainable cultivation methods.
• Hotel's own herb garden: We harvest fresh herbs directly on site - for a special taste experience in our dishes.
• Exquisite wine selection: Our wine list presents above all exquisite South Tyrolean wines that impress with the highest quality.

Waste prevention and recycling

• Packaging reduction: Wherever possible, we rely on bulk packaging to avoid single-use packaging.
• Careful waste separation: Our team consistently separates waste and ensures environmentally friendly disposal.

Sustainable mobility

• Südtirol Guest Pass: Our guests receive a pass at check-in, with which they can use public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge.
• Electromobility: We offer charging stations for e-cars – both in our parking lot and in our garage.
• Perfect connections: A bus stop directly in front of the hotel and the proximity to train stations allow a stress-free journey without a car.
• Cycling: There is also a cycle path, which is only 50m away from our hotel, connecting the nearby villages of Siusi allo Sciliar and Fiè allo Sciliar.

Cleaning

• Our housekeeping team attaches great importance to care and precision. Equally important to us is the choice of our cleaning products – whenever possible, we rely on environmentally friendly products to keep the environmental impact as low as possible.

• Safe working environment: Clear safety guidelines, regular training and open communication ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
