- 1962: Marriage of Karl Marmsoler († 2018) and Agnes Gius († 2009). They have two sons, Klaus and Walter.
- Until 1976: Ran a butcher's shop in Nals.
- 1970: Construction of the Vigilerhof. Karl, as a trained butcher, supplies the kitchen with hearty meats, while Agnes is in charge of the kitchen.
- 1996: Extension of an adjoining building, which later houses the sauna area.
- From 1999: Klaus, a trained chef, takes over the management of the traditional establishment along with his wife Ulrike and their two children, Florian (born in 1998) and Sophia (born in 2002).
- 2000: New construction of the sauna area.
- 2002: Renovation of the bar and dining room.
- 2006: Extension of the sun terrace.
- 2009: Klaus and Ulrike add an outdoor swimming pool to the Vigilerhof's guest facilities.
- 2011: Extension and new construction of rooms and suites; renovation of the kitchen.
- 2012: Installation of the winter garden.
- 2014: Construction of the garage.
- 2015: Renovation and remodelling of the reception and rooms.
- From 2017: Rooms, relaxation areas and sauna facilities refurbished.
- 2024: Addition of 2 more rooms and the spa suite. Total renovation of the swimming pool.
- 2025: Expansion with three new rooms and simultaneous enlargement of the wellness area, including a panoramic sauna, an ice pool, and an additional relaxation room.
